Job Description: Our client is seeking an experienced and driven IT product development professional to join their high-growth, mission-driven organisation. The successful individual will be a creative problem solver and will have commercial understanding and operational experience in a service environment. Key Responsibilities: - Providing dynamic leadership of multi-team projects: guiding and mentoring team members, delegating allocated tasks appropriately, and motivating and influencing the team to meet deadlines - Responsible for risk management, exception planning, budget planning, and management of medium-scale projects - Identifying strategic improvement opportunities to contribute to the development of the company's strategic goals and objectives - Responsible for the submission of insightful data on the progress and viability of new product development - Providing analytical data including: project progress, budget reports, Project lifecycle impact data - Delivering strong business cases for projects with the ability to present at senior management level Key Skills: Applicants must be educated to at least degree level and have at least 5 years experience in an IT product management role. Applicants must be energetic, flexible, collaborative, and proactive; a team leader who can positively and productively impact both strategic and tactical administration initiatives. - Experience of managing projects with a critical eye for ineffective processes and a creative approach to finding solutions - Experience managing external software suppliers/developers/agents. - Excellent written, oral, interpersonal, and presentation skills with the ability to effectively interact with internal staff members at all levels across the company - Proven track record of success in managing projects involving concept to completion delivery - Excellent judgment and creative problem solving skills - Negotiation and conflict resolution skills - Able to build and manage a team with diverse levels of expertise using strong mentoring and coaching skills - Ability to work both as part of a team and using one's own initiative Benefits: On top of an excellent basic salary, the successful candidate will receive excellent benefits including: - Auto enrolment pension scheme - Holiday entitlement of 23 days per annum plus bank holidays - Annual pay review - Discretionary annual bonus - Childcare voucher scheme - Staff and Team Development opportunities - On-site parking
