Based in open plan offices in the city centre, you'll use leading computer systems and technology whilst learning from a talented team.

Your Role: 

Working as part of a team of six, as an Assistant Cashier, you will help with a range of finance tasks for the firm. 

Specifically, you will: 

- Process payments, BACS, CHAPS and cheques 
- Maintain the anti-money laundering register 
- Post entries onto the firm's computer systems 
- Ensure compliance with Solicitors' Account Rules regulations 
- Deal with petty cash 

About You: 

Whilst no experience is necessary, to become one of our client's Assistant Cashiers, you will need: 

- Integrity 
- The ability to work well within a team 
- A methodical approach 
- A great eye for detail 
- The desire to learn 

The firm is part of the Law Society's Quality Conveyancing Scheme. As such, the successful candidate will be required to undertake a DBS check. 

Experience in a similar cashiering role would be beneficial, but this is not essential. 

Other organisations may call this role a Junior Legal Cashier, Accounts Assistant, Finance Clerk, Finance Assistant, Accounts Administrator or Finance Administrator.
