Web Systems Co-ordinator
Research in Practice (RiP) and Research in Practice for Adults (RiPfA) work with organisations across children's services and adult social care across the UK, supporting them to develop an evidence-informed approach to their work. Our focus is on using evidence from research and practice to improve practice, policy and services in order to achieve positive outcomes for people of all ages. Our websites form a core part of the offer to our clients and we are looking for an experienced web systems coordinator, with excellent project management, communication and time management skills to maintain, develop and update our websites. Web Systems Co-ordinator Based: Dartington, South Devon - part of the week could be worked remotely. Salary: £29,867 per annum Permanent, 37.5 hours per week Ref: SJ0517157 Key elements of the role: - Undertaking ongoing maintenance and continuous improvement to the RiP and RiPfA websites, microsites and supporting systems (eg CRM systems). - Overseeing the work of external contractors undertaking more extensive development work; providing robust project management and budget management and communicating our business needs and values to external technical developers. - Supporting direct reports and other team members to ensure they are delivering excellent work, are motivated and are developing their skills and expertise. - Seeking out opportunities to enhance our online offer and customer experience; advocating internally for innovation and best practice in this area of work and leading strategic planning in this area (in particular, e-learning). - Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure effective systems are in place to support events management, purchasing of resources, impact measurement and income generation. - This list can never be exhaustive but covers most of the work you'll be doing. On occasion, you may be asked to do other tasks, relevant to your role and skills. This role is based in our Dartington office, but part of the week could be worked remotely. About you An experienced Web Systems Coordinator, with a relevant degree and knowledge of integrating web systems, you will be able to use interpersonal skills to maintain effective working relationships with internal colleagues and external contractors, ensuring work is delivered within timescale and budget requirements. You will have experience of website management and development (and of working with associated systems, such as CRM), solving technical issues, and be able to provide support to non-technical colleagues and external users. You will be up to date with the latest web technologies and keen to enable innovation in our work. You will be willing to use existing (and develop new) expertise in e-learning approaches to enhance our offer to customers. RiP and RiPfA are departments of Dartington Hall Trust.
