About Our Client With 20 years of success, our client provides a wide range of programmes and services to support children and young adults with learning disabilities. They champion the right of all individuals to lead a happy, safe and full life. They're now looking for a Care Team Leader to help deliver a 24/7 service to children and young people at their residential and short breaks home in Dartington. The Role As a Care Team Leader, you'll ensure that children and young people at our client's residential and short breaks home receive the support they need to thrive. Specifically, you'll oversee the night and early morning shifts, leading a team that are passionate about delivering an outstanding service to the young people we work with. About You To be considered for the role of Care Team Leader, you will not need any experience, but you will need to be: - Empathetic - Collaborative - Articulate - Organised - Personable Due to the requirements of this role and the Children's Home Regulations 2015, our client's Care Team Leader will also need to be aged 21 or over. The successful candidate will also be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check. Ideally, you'll have previous care experience, working at supervisory level. An NVQ Level 4 qualification in Health and Social Care or Management would also be an advantage, but this isn't essential as we will support you to gain this. Our client is eager to hear from candidates who have held the post of, or would like to become a Support Worker, Care Worker, Social Care Team Leader or Social Care Supervisor. Other organisations may call this role a Senior Social Care Worker, Senior Support Worker or Healthcare Supervisor.
