Mitrem Recruitment are currently recruiting for various administration roles within the Devon and Cornwall area; we have positions within HR, Accounts, Imports and general administration roles.

In all of these roles you would be working as part of a team and the work you complete will impact all aspects of the department and company.

We are looking for a candidates with a background in administration and someone who is able to commit to an immediate start within a temporary position.

You must demonstrate the key skills required with the willingness to learn these varied, demanding & exciting roles.

Full training on processes will be given for each role.

Duties will involve but will not be limited to:

- Processing documents.
- Updating internal systems.
- Acting as the first point of contact (Phone and face to face) for visitors and clients.

- Dealing with telephone and email enquiries.
- Keeping diaries and arranging appointments.
- using a variety of software packages, such as Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, etc., to produce correspondence and documents and to maintain presentations, records, spreadsheets and databases;
- Liaising with staff in other departments and with external contacts;
- Ordering and maintaining stationery and equipment;
- sorting and distributing incoming post and organising and sending outgoing post;
- organising and storing paperwork, documents and computer-based information;
- photocopying and printing various documents, sometimes on behalf of other colleagues;

The candidate must have the following skills:

* Ability to pick things up quickly

* Excellent attention to detail

* Excellent accuracy and consistency of work

* Good organisational skills with a methodical approach

* Ability to multitask

* Good knowledge of Microsoft Office - Excel essential (must include excel knowledge of formulas, formatting & sorting. Use of Access preferred but not essential)

* Experience of imports, customs or logistics an advantage, but not essential

These roles will suit someone who enjoys a challenge, likes problem solving and who works best when under pressure.

These are a mixture of temporary and temporary to permanent positions
