Accounts Technician / Semi Senior
A successful and growing firm of accountants is searching for an Accounts Technician / Semi Senior to join their team based in their Crediton offices. You will be joining an experienced, close knit team, in a varied role with wide ranging responsibilities, with increasing responsibility, client contact and skill development on offer, with scope to progress and develop, within your accounting career. Client Details This highly successful firm of accountants, with offices in Crediton has undergone significant growth over the last few years. The firm acts for wide ranging clients in sector and turnovers, for sole traders and partnerships - circa 500 clients, limited companies - around 200 clients, up to around £4million turnover on the largest clients and provides a superb environment in which to develop an all-around, wide ranging skill set. Description Joining as an Accounts Technician / Semi Senior, in the firms Crediton office, you will carve a key role in this successful firm. The director has developed a really successful business here, having growing in successfully since setting up some time ago now. The firm acts for varied sole traders, partnerships and limited companies, providing a quality compliance service, but also having a more commercial approach, in addition, looking to add value, with planning and advisory services as well. You will join a team including qualified ACCA seniors, experienced professionals, AAT trainees and admin support. You will have a hands on role providing services across the spectrum of accounts preparation, bookkeeping, VAT, CIS, tax and payroll. You will develop in this firm and role, with potential to progress. Profile You may be an AAT qualified technician or studying AAT, or perhaps studying ACCA or looking to build further on your experience. Most importantly, you will have a background in accountancy practice or with at least 2 - 3 years or more experience within practice, as an Accounts Technician / Semi Senior, with experience across any, or ideally all of - preparing accounts, bookkeeping, VAT, payroll, tax and other responsibilities for a mixed client base of sole traders, partnerships and limited companies. Job Offer £16000 - £22,000, dependent on the background and experience, plus benefits and study support potentially.
