We are recruiting for a Compliance Manager for our Client, this position is to be Home Based but will at times require travel to various sites within a 50 mile radius of Exeter. It is a permanent, full time role. On offer is a salary of £32 - £37,000 pa, depending on skills and experience, plus a company vehicle. General Overview: Reporting to the Technical Services Manager, the Compliance Manager will assure the delivery of statutory, legislative, and contractual procedures for a diverse portfolio of client sites, to deliver and assure the highest levels of compliance. Responsible for leading a team to produce accurate weekly, monthly and quarterly management information in line with WPS and the client expectations. Share best practice and innovations with colleagues in the wider environment. Establish and maintain an effective audit regime in line with the Quality Management Plan, to provide governance and deliver an assured service to the client and senior management. Main Duties and Responsibilities: - Monitor and assist in the maintenance of the compliance systems - Identify and highlight the effectiveness of compliance activity across the contract. - Promote and drive the delivery of compliance procedures. Develop and co-ordinate the delivery of compliance activity where it is absent or unsatisfactory. - Provide advice and guidance to the helpdesk operatives and all members of the contract team. - Co-ordinating internal compliance review and monitoring activities, including periodic reviews of sites. - To work across the contracts to improve the understanding of strategic and operational compliance, quality and similar initiatives. - Work with all areas of the business to continually improve quality of all internal and contract related communications and procedures. - Support the TSM in the delivery of the APCP matrix. Report of F Gas position. Qualifications - Recognised Technical Qualifications (CIBSE / NEBOSH ect ) - Experienced communicator and excellent written skills and attention to detail. - Ability to interact with senior management and clients. - Excellent team worker with an eye for detail and an ability to produce quality communications that engage all stakeholders. - Proficient in MS Environment - Experience within a service contracting environment is essential - A detailed understanding of current Health and Safety legislation and statutory requirements relating to property management. - Ability to identify areas of the contract where there is a risk of non- compliance and develop, implement and review action plans to reduce the risk. Experience of CIBSE TM17 and associated guidance.
