Our client has a role for an experienced Administrator to join their small but busy office team in Torquay. The company has been based in Devon for over 20 years and has an open, honest and friendly culture whilst remaining professional.Lovely team!

The role

- Inputting jobs, processing engineers' job sheets and invoicing
- Log all information on calls and emails received and maintain detailed and accurate records
- File data and perform other routine clerical tasks
- Dealing with general queries by phone and email
- Point of contact for customers placing breakdown calls
- Scheduling and planning workload for mobile Engineers
- Contacting existing clients to arrange appointments for routine service and emergency calls
- Communicate and liaise verbally and in writing between clients, suppliers and engineers

Main Qualities

- Good communication skills - comfortable on the phone, good standard of written work (e-mail)
- Good computer skills - comfortable with main MS office suite components. Full training provided on
- Industry software
- Able to work alone, but understands importance of communication with rest of team (and company)
- Commercially aware, understands how attention to detail can have a wider impact
- Customer focused - aggressive in the pursuit of customer satisfaction

Work Experience

- Previous experience within a customer service / administrative role
- Experience in a fast moving environment
- Using a PC - Data processing work
- Good English for drafting emails
- Attention to detail a must as you will be dealing with lots of data

Terms & Remuneration Package

- The standard hours of work are 8.00am to 1.00pm Monday to Friday. You will need to provide holiday cover for other full time member of staff which will mean you will have to be able to work full time (40 hours) for a total of 8 weeks per year
- Salary GBP8.00 per hour
- 28 days holiday per annum inclusive of public/bank holidays, pro rata

This role will initially be offered on a fixed term contract until February 2018 with a strong possibility that the role will be made permanent.
