Job title: Restaurant Supervisor Salary: Up to 18,500 GBP Location: Dartmouth, Devon Type of contract: Permanent Workplace description: Privately owned, the award-winning hotel has a great location, in the centre of the pretty town of Dartmouth, with its cobbled streets, intriguing shops and world-famous restaurants and bars. With wonderful views out over the river, the restaurant offers delicious food made from the best, freshest produce available locally. The hotel also has 2 bars with real open log fires burning in the winter. Main duties and responsibilities: Whenever the guests go for breakfast, lunch and dinner in the hotels restaurant, you'll be there to guarantee they feel comfortable and relaxed and that their every requirement is met. This means working closely with your Manager to control resources, budgets & stock, as well as setting an excellent example to your team through your own performance of waiting duties. Essential criteria: Applicants should be personable and organised with good leadership skills, with an excellent food and beverage knowledge and a real passion for food and drink. Previous supervisory experience and be comfortable working in a team. You will have good knowledge to support a passion for food and beverages and experience in upholding excellent standards of customer service. You will be smart and hard working, and hold a full driving licence.
