Office Administrator / Book Keeper
- OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR/ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT - FULL TIME - OKEHAMPTON - £17,000 per annum We are looking for an Office Administrator to join our friendly team in Okehampton in a permanent full time basis. Duties will include: - First point of contact for telephone calls, deliveries & visitors - Processing customer orders and resolving customer queries - Procurement of stock & supplies - Pricing and quoting to customers - Liaise with the production department and update customers on availability timescales - Payroll - Invoicing Customers & Associated Goods In & Goods Out procedures - Sorting and distributing incoming & outgoing post - Collating and processing petty cash and staff expenses claims - Organising refreshments for visitors - Diary & Travel Management for visitors and staff - Managing staff sick leave records As well as strong interpersonal and organisational skills, the ideal candidate will have existing knowledge of Payroll, Invoicing & Ledger Management and possess strong IT skills and existing knowledge of both SAGE Line 50 & SAGE Payroll as well as the Microsoft Office software suite. A generous salary of £17,000, is offered for this post along with potential overtime, 33 days paid holiday (including bank holidays), contributory pension scheme and a great working environment. Please note that due to the location of the business away from public transport links, a Full UK Driving Licence and own transport is required to be considered for this role.
