Account Manager, reporting to the Client Services Director is sought for a thriving Exeter based business. Proactively owning, managing and developing a group of Client Accounts, you will have focus on the success of the overall relationship, positive outcomes and results for clients as well as collaboration and growth. You will demonstrate strong Client engagement and relationship development skills with all levels of organisations, understanding a broad range of organisational structures and their objectives. As Account Manager you will be the primary point of contact for new requests and non-standard requirements as well as issue escalation, you will take ownership of contractual and commercial relationship with existing clients, as well as monitoring adherence to SLAs and adherence to contractual terms of agreement by contracting parties. You will identify and progress the pipeline of new opportunities for existing Accounts as well as commercial forecasting and will support and contribute to pitches, generating proposals and presentations for new or expanding opportunities with existing Client Accounts. From a day-to-day perspective, you will originate and proactively drive the development of proposals incorporating the recommendation of a range of data and digital capabilities and solutions. Core to your work will be the receipt and interpretation of briefs, some of which are reasonably complex in nature, applying strong judgement in drawing out clear and unambiguous requirements, making effective commercial and pricing decisions, managing Client expectations and overseeing the successful delivery of projects and services, working closely with the operational and delivery teams across the business. It will be your job to ensure pricing is incorporated into any proposal, quote or estimate and that it is commercially appropriate for the business. It goes without saying that you will be a highly confident communicator with superb interpersonal skills and able to present and communicate with groups of internal and external attendees. Applicants should be organised, with keen attention to detail and the ability to self-manage workload and priorities to ensure expectations and key deliverables are both managed and met. You will operate successfully under pressure and show strong judgement in decision making both collectively and when a unilateral decision is required. Account Managers should apply if they have experience of working in an environment engaging with data strategies and targeting for Direct Marketing Campaign activity, or if they have experience of working in an environment where digital platforms and database solutions are frequently used enabling to achieving business objectives.
