Dartington, Nr Totnes
£20,571 - £23,233 per annum (pro rata for part time) Plus Pension, Staff Discounts, 28 Days' Holiday (pro rata for part time)
If you are a personable care professional with supervisory experience, this is a great opportunity to take on a rewarding role with a leading organisation.
With 20 years of success, our client provides a wide range of programmes and services to support children and young adults with learning disabilities. They are now looking for two Team Leaders to join their team on a full time and part time basis.
In a welcoming and supportive environment, you'll join a dedicated team who are passionate about delivering an outstanding service for the young people they work with and support.
As the Team Leader, you will manage our client's daytime services at their respite and life skills centre in Dartington.
In this important role, you'll enable children and young people to achieve their goals, targets and aspirations within a safe, welcoming and fun environment, in-line with their care plan.
Our client will provide you with full training and ongoing support to enable you to increase your skill-set and realise your professional ambitions.
To be considered, you'll need experience in a care environment at supervisory level. Excellent communication skills and an empathetic approach are also key.
Due to the requirements of this role and Care Standards legislation, the successful candidate will also need to be aged 21 or over.
Our client is dedicated to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people, and they expect all staff to share their commitment. As such, the successful candidate will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check.
The ideal Team Leader will already have an NVQ Level 4 qualification in Health & Social Care or Management, but this is by no means essential, as our client will support you to gain this.
Please note, the closing date for applications is 5pm on Friday 21st July 2017. Interviews are scheduled to be held on the week commencing Monday 31st July 2017.
