We are seeking an Administrative Assistant to join the Employment and Immigration team in our Exeter Office to start as soon as possible. This is a full time opportunity working 9am-5.15pm Monday to Friday. This is a nine month fixed term contract but depending on developments within the team and subject to the team’s needs and your suitability could be extended to a permanent contract.
You will be working as an administrator in our very busy Employment and Immigration team with responsibility for opening and closing files, producing invoices, and supporting Partners, Fee Earners and Secretaries across both Employment (including our HRExpress service) and Immigration. You will need to have a flexible approach and the ability to work within a team environment.
In addition to the above, you will be responsible for a wide range of administrative duties including, but not limited to, assisting with new client enquiries, typing attendance notes, letters and documents, assisting with the preparation of management information, preparing bundles and lodging papers at tribunal, liaising with clients for bill payments, filing and speaking to clients and potential clients in the office and on the telephone.
Are you the right person?
The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, highly organised and accurate, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills including on the telephone and the ability to deliver exceptional client care.
Adaptability and flexibility are key, as you will be required to have a hands-on, proactive approach to daily administrative tasks within the team.
You will also have good ICT and typing skills, including proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook
Previous experience of working in a professional services environment is an advantage.
