Senior Project Manager

Working within Estate Services the Senior Project Manager will take the lead responsibility for managing the implementation and delivery of a range of key complex and major capital projects within the University's estate development programme. These works will include construction, refurbishment and major planned maintenance projects across a diverse range of property types with projects typically valued up to £25m. The successful candidate will possess extensive experience in a project leadership role with responsibility for procuring and managing complex construction and refurbishment projects in excess of £7m in value, either in a client side or client's consultant role. You will have strong technical and commercial management skills, with experience of design management, contract management and supply chain management in relation to project delivery. You will have excellent communication skills, with the personality and authority to lead and manage project teams and stakeholder groups coupled with a track record of working effectively in or with a large scale, complex organisation. It is expected that the successful candidate will possess relevant a professional qualification/membership (e.g. RICS, CIOB).
