Area Parts Manager
Area Parts Manager for the South Westopportunity. Great opportunity for an analytically astute Parts manager to advise and guide Parts Trade Dealer and Parts Hub management with regards to sales performance. Working for a leadingmajor Motor manufacturer covering Cornwall, the primary purpose of this field-based role is to effectively support the profitability of a leading Motor organisation and the dealer network and support continual improvement in the parts area. Key Responsibilities: - Work with Parts Trade Dealers and Parts Hub management to grow and develop their trade business - Understanding the financial aspects of the business and encourage best practice - Staff motivation and marketing initiatives - Management meetings and monitoring/reviewing sales and performance KPIs - Prepare a business case toenable the Dealer to visualise the return on investment - Ensure that the Network of Trade Dealers continues to achieve the necessary objectives for trade parts sales and margin. The ideal Area Parts Manager will have great experience and knowledge of Parts & Service and dealership operations as a prerequisite and possess sound financial understanding together with a proven track record of building relationships and influencing people at all levels within an organisation, you will - Work closely and in collaboration with the relevant Parts Hub and Service Operational Teams - Have excellent interpersonal skills - Ideally educated to degree level, however this is not essential. - Strong IT and numerical skills - Able to work autonomously using one's own initiative - Able to demonstrate sound negotiation abilities with excellent interpersonal skills My client is offering a highly competitive salary and excellent benefits including Employee car ownership scheme, competitive stakeholder pension, Private medical cover, 26 days hols bank hols.
