Our client provides firefighting services, standby rescue crews and fire and safety training courses to medium and large businesses and services in the UK. This is a growing business, with huge scope to further develop upon, and is therefore a real opportunity for a Business Development Manager to be highly-successful in this rewarding and highly- interesting sector. Business Development Manager responsibilities include Gaining new sales and developing new clients in line with the Commercial Business Plan and sales targets Ensuring that the clients commercial courses are filled to capacity Further development of existing client-base and to successfully introduce the client to new market sectors and new customers Promoting its products and its services across its vertical markets and client base To document and report sales progress as required. Business Development Manager requirements include To develop and build the customer base, selling (telesales and client meetings) prospects and engaging with existing clients to ensure the profitable delivery of services and projects To meet and exceed the annual sales target To provide sales quotations and estimates to clients as necessary To respond to customer queries and to resolve customer issues quickly and effectively This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Business Development Manager to embark on a new and exciting part-office/part-field-based role.
