On behalf of a fast growing and hugely successful software solutions provider based in Exeter, I am looking to recruit a Software Product Delivery Manager, with a strong understanding of software delivery platforms, and proven success in delivering products to market. Reporting into the MD this role is the chance to help shape technology including mobile applications, software platforms and automated solutions. Taking key responsibility for delivery of a growing range of products across email/messaging, data validation, CRM and security, you will support the design, development and delivery of the product road map working with IT, sales, operations and senior management within an Agile/Scrum environment. Your role can be broken down into key areas: - Market knowledge/competitior insights - Stakeholder management - Product delivery - training, documentation - Product review Regarding market knowledge you will undertake competitor analysis, develop the product strategy and build up an in-depth understanding of the unique technology offering. You will conduct monthly briefings with the senior management team on market info and future product developments ensuring everyone is fully ed. For product delivery, you will engage effectively with sales and marketing teams to maximise the return on product developments. This is a well rounded role within a rapidly expanding business, in which you will play an integral part in shaping future products. Key skills you will demonstrate include: - Relentless drive to provide the best customer experience possible. - Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and senior management to collect requirements, describe software product features, technical designs and product strategy. - Capturing requirements from stakeholders within the group - Making functional API design recommendations, contribute to API design discussions - Translating front end feature requirements into technical requirements / user stories - Creating user stories and use cases including detailed wireframing - Ensuring functional specifications match business goals - Ensuring the core domain services priorities are ed with business priorities - Maintain technical documentation, ensure release cycles are maintained Role requirements: - Excellent technical skills - Organisational skills - Strong oral/written communication skills - Ability to creatively solve challenging business/technology problems - Demonstrable experience gathering business requirements and turning them into detailed functional design specifications preferably in an Agile Development setting - Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, prioritize workload effectively, and thrive in a dynamic and complex environment - Proven ability to work with cross functional teams to drive the implementation of new features - Familiarity with web-based product development including tiered architecture, data organization, and performance optimization - Experience building and designing APIs - Ability to take product roadmap requirements to strong, clear wireframed solutions for implementation To discuss this exciting opportunity in more detail, please APPLY NOW for a no obligation chat with your VIQU Consultant.
