The Company:

Are you a hands on, innovative, highly experienced FMCG Operations Manager looking to take on the full responsibility for an established site with plenty of potential for EBIT growth? The Group are looking to take somebody into this site who can improve efficiency's, grow profitability and develop the site. This is a chilled and frozen environment, and does need food production experience.

Job Responsibilities:

- Manage and mentor the Site management team, including setting clear objectives, performance reviews and personal development plans
- Manage the manufacturing function to maximise efficiency/costs through a series of KPI management and continuous improvement plans.
- Ensuring the Technical and Operations teams maintain quality and legality of product and ensure they are producing in line with customer specifications and standards, ensuring GMP and Technical requirements are adhered to.
- Be responsible for ensuring that the site has devised, organised and managed the Quality Assurance and Food Safety systems that meet customer requirements.
- Responsible for all costs on site and ensuring that they are within the budget of the site. Control project costs within the agreed spend levels
- Pro-actively contribute to the development process and growth of Sales on the site. Working with the Development team, ensure New Products are launched in line with Business and customer requirements.
- Investigate ways of improving product quality and customer satisfaction, empowering Site managers to be accountable for their departments
- Manage and implement all HR and H&S related issues, including policies and procedures across the site.
- Responsible for proposing and implementing new systems, procedures and projects which will improve the competitiveness of the company and ensure a physical environment fit for manufacturing quality food products in compliance with current Health & Safety legislation.
- As the leader of the management team of the site, be responsible for the strategy, development, culture and performance of the total site.

Preferred Skills:

- Proven experience of managing and leading a teams within a food manufacturing environment
- Has detailed knowledge of systems, processes and procedures
- Can demonstrate tangible and sustained KPI improvement
