We are currently recruiting for a Part Time Work Based assessor for our Dental Nursing Apprenticeships, here at South Devon College. You will be required to assess students as appropriate by formal or informal methods, carrying out planned regular visits to the learner’s workplace in order to observe and direct assess the evident required for their portfolio. You will set SMART targets for each learner in conjunction with the curriculum delivery team, and assist in the implementation of pastoral and welfare systems provided for students.

The successful candidate will need to hold a relevant vocational qualification in Dental Nursing maintain GDC registration, and if not already held, you will be required to attain an assessing/IQA qualification within the College’s specified timescale. We are looking for someone who has experience of assessing, with relevant subject knowledge.

Due to the remoteness of some of the locations and lack of public transport, you will need to hold a full current driving licence with access to a car or other appropriate form of transport, in order to be successful in this post.
